Keep learning.
At The Forest, we are seekers of knowledge. We are devoted to lifelong learning, education, and exploration.
The people who live here are curious and love learning about new people, places, and things. Our residents enjoy attending classes, lectures, workshops, and concerts on site. They also frequent Durham’s downtown theater options, activities on area campuses, and sporting events all over the Triangle. We take every possible opportunity to exercise the mind and energize the spirit.
PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES
Here, there are more than 400 opportunities each month to keep doing, contributing, and achieving. Want to take a hike by the Eno River? Learn a new skill? Join a chorus, try a new restaurant, or discuss the latest bestseller? At The Forest, you can do all of that and more.
There are always new and interesting programs and activities to discover here and beyond. In addition to our on-site schedule and classes organized by the renowned Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Duke University, there are always plenty of off-campus excursions in every direction, too!
